I have no rooting interest in this one. Everyone is asked 'who do you want to win' and it truly doesn't matter to me. The Dallas Cowboys are not in it, so I'm watching as an NFL fan.

Both teams are going for some sort of history, so I would root for that. For example, I wanted to see the New England Patriots complete the 19-0 season four years ago. A New York Giants win gives Eli Manning and coach Tom Coughlin multiple titles (and pretty much assures that Coughlin can retire as Giants coach). If the Patriots win Bill Belichick and Tom Brady cement themselves as NFL legends with four Super Bowl titles.

Here's a great 'old school' factor around this game. In this salary-cap era and coaches getting fired after three seasons, this is as close to a legitimate Super Bowl rematch (same head coaches, same starting quarterbacks) as we can have.

Oh, and who's going to win? Manning will be able to make more plays against the Patriots than Brady will against the Giants. Peyton Manning will really need to come back now, because his brother will move ahead him in the championship race. New York 26, New England 21.
