Super Bowl XLIII

Conference championship games: 1-1.
Playoffs: 5-5.
Pittsburgh offense vs. Arizona defense: The Steelers will look to pound the ball against an improving but smallish Cardinals defense. Pittsburgh's offense line has improved all season, and will be the key to the Steelers controlling the ball. Advantage Pittsburgh.

Arizona offense vs. Pittsburgh defense: Strength vs. strength. The Steelers have the NFL's top defense, while the Cardinals rely on Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin to make plays. Warner is a veteran who is good at getting rid of the ball, but Arizona needs to at least attempt to run. Advantage Pittsburgh.

Special teams: J.J. Arrington has had moments returning kicks for Arizona. Pittsburgh's Santonio Holmes is a game-breaker on punt returns. The Cardinals' Neil Rackers and Jeff Reed of the Steelers are solid kickers. Advantage Pittsburgh.

Overview: Warner appears to be a good matchup against the strong Steelers defense. If he can get rid of the ball the Cardinals' receivers have the advantage. Arizona won't be able to run the ball and probably won't try. Pittsburgh has proven they can get big plays on offense, defense and special teams. That will be enough. Pittsburgh 23, Arizona 17.
