NFL Conference Championship Game Predictions

Last week: 2-2
Playoffs: 4-4
New England 24, Baltimore 17: Ravens will have a challenge matching up with the Patriots' stud tight ends. Baltimore's pass offense isn't effective enough to take advantage of New England's poor pass defense. Tom Brady seems to have that look.

NY Giants 23, San Francisco 21: Alex Smith had a breakout game last week, but the New Orleans doesn't have the Giants' defense. The 49ers can't expect to get five turnovers in this one. Eli Manning two wins away from elite status.

NFL Divisional Playoff Predictions

Last week: 2-2.
New Orleans 24, San Francisco 16: The 49ers' defense is overrated in a season where offense has dominated. The Saints have the ability to generate some running game, and it's hard to believe San Francisco's offense can score enough.

New England 27, Denver 17: It's rare that the Patriots' Tom Brady plays in a game where he isn't the most talked-about quarterback. The Broncos' defense is good but not unbeatable, and Tim Tebow isn't going to outscore New England.

Baltimore 21, Houston 13: The Ravens have to feel like it's their year - they have a bye, a home playoff game and the best defense remaining in the AFC. Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs will show the Texans' T.J. Yates what the postseason is about.

Green Bay 23, NY Giants 20: Matt Flynn's six-touchdown performance in the regular-season finale may be the impetus for the Packers' playoff push, keeping them energized. The Giants seem due for a letdown.

NFL Wild Card Predictions

Last week: 11-5
Final regular season: 160-94
Cincinnati 21, Houston 17: Bengals rookie combination of Andy Dalton and A.J. Green are more likely to make plays than Texans' T.J. Yates and a hobbling Andre Johnson.

New Orleans 34, Detroit 31: Lions have appeared to have settled down in the past few weeks, but winning in the Superdome is still too big of a task.

NY Giants 20, Atlanta 14: Falcons have a lot to prove on the road in big games, while the Giants have been in playoff mode for three weeks.

Pittsburgh 16, Denver 9: Broncos 'offense' has regressed recently, which is saying something considering it wasn't that effective.
